Job Overview: Join our forward-thinking Energy, Oil & Gas team as a mid-level AI/ML Engineer, where you'll leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive innovation across the entire value chain, including upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Your role will involve developing and implementing AI solutions that optimize exploration, production, distribution, and refining processes, significantly enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Collaborating with experts from various disciplines, you'll transform complex industry challenges into scalable, impactful AI-driven solutions. 
  
Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and deploy machine learning models to improve oil and gas exploration and production, focusing on enhancing accuracy in seismic data interpretation and reservoir characterization.
• Develop AI-driven solutions for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection in midstream operations, optimizing pipeline integrity and transportation efficiency.
• Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance downstream operations, including refining processes optimization, demand forecasting, and energy management.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and feature engineering to extract insights from geological, sensor, operational, and financial datasets, driving decision-making and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into existing energy systems, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine AI solutions, adhering to industry regulations and environmental standards.

  
Basic Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in applying machine learning models and data science techniques in the energy, oil, and gas industry, with a well-rounded understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with geospatial analysis, time-series forecasting, and optimization algorithms relevant to the energy sector.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of handling complex data sets and translating them into actionable insights.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
