Job Overview: As an AI/ML Delivery Leader focused on the Energy, Oil & Gas sector, you'll spearhead the development, oversight, and execution of AI/ML projects designed to enhance operations across upstream, midstream, and downstream processes. Your expertise will guide the innovation in exploration optimization, predictive maintenance, production efficiency, and market forecasting. In close collaboration with clients, the practice lead, and the delivery team, you'll ensure on-time delivery of high-quality, impactful AI solutions. 
  
Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the creation and execution of machine learning solutions to optimize exploration, drilling, production, and distribution in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams to gather business needs, define project parameters, and craft AI/ML strategies that align with the energy sector's goals and challenges.
• Perform advanced data analysis and feature engineering to draw insights from complex, multi-faceted energy sector data to predict system performance and operational risks.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML algorithms and predictive models to enhance fault detection, efficiency in logistics, and the accuracy of reserve estimations.
• Rigorously evaluate and validate model effectiveness, using statistical methods and performance metrics to ensure reliability and validity in high-stakes environments.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest AI/ML advancements, energy sector regulations, and best practices, providing strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  
Technical Leadership: 

• Drive architectural design and implementation of AI infrastructure, ensuring optimal integration with existing energy sector technologies.
• Provide technical mentorship to teams, reinforcing adherence to industry and tech best practices.
• Champion innovation by incorporating the latest in cloud and AI technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the energy sector.

  
Communication: 

• Deliver exceptional communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, tailoring messages to various audiences.
• Mentor and lead managers in effective communication strategies, improving overall team dynamics and stakeholder engagement.
• Promote a unified team atmosphere, managing team interactions and fostering strong relationships at all organizational levels.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geosciences, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a substantial portfolio in the Energy, Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
• In-depth knowledge of ML algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly valued.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic, and multitasking skills, thriving in a fast-paced industry.
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities, with a commitment to continuous learning and tech advancement.
• Willing to travel up to 25% to client sites, including offshore platforms, refineries, and corporate offices.
