As a network and security architect you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and services to our clients. You will work closely with clients, technical leadership, internal and customer stakeholders to understand the requirements, provide design and solutions. Your expertise in the cloud and data center Network and security domain is important to provide optimal design and to ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Project Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer existing architecture and requirement to transform in a optimal best case solution
- Establish quality standards and methods that ensure on-time and in-scope delivery
- Responsible for end-to-end delivery of project including solution, design, implementation and troubleshooting in network and security domain
- Should be good team-player to collaborate with counterparts and other domain experts to deliver optimal solution
- Should have good communication skill to front-end customer and leadership discussion
- Should have good documentation skills to cover the solution and designs in presentable format meet the industry standards
Must have:
- Expert with complete Data center and Cloud life-cycle (Design, Implementation, Migration and Support) for Multi-Vendor environment in Network and Security
- Candidate Must Have Design, Implementation & Architecture Level Experience, Not Just Support/TAC/Sales/Management
- The candidate must have a strong understanding and hands-on experience in integrating one of the Cisco ACI, HPE FlexFabric, or Aruba CX-Campus & Edge Fabric technologies with OpenStack.
- Deep expertise in OpenStack networking and security modules, including their deployment and integration with Platform9, is required.
- Solid hands-on expertise in BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VPN - IPSEC, GRE, F5/Netscalers Load Balancing etc
- Solid understanding of VXLAN, MPBGP, EPVN on Cisco Catalyst/Nexus/ Aruba/Arista platform
- Solid understanding and hands-on in Cisco Nexus switching (vPC, VXLAN etc) & catalyst switching
- Solid understanding of Cloud security with 3rd party firewall integration, Palo alto firewalls, understanding of Zero trust, security best practices, compliance, standards etc
- Sound understanding of automation in network and security domain using Python/Teraform/Ansible etc
- Solid design & documentation skills in network design like technical presentation, HLD, LLD etc
- Good understanding on Data center setup like rack & stack, cabling, power etc
- Candidate must be presentable to client with excellent communication skills and must have excellent documentation skills
- Excellent customer relations and inter-personal skills, ability to navigate complex organizations and get the job done by working with others
- Candidate must be flexible with work schedule
Good to have:
- Sound understanding of SDWAN (Viptela/Velo Cloud/Cloudgenix/Versa)
- Sound understanding on AWS/Azure/GCP cloud network and security components
- Sound understanding of firewall concept and Checkpoint, Fortinet firewalls
- Ability to create Visio, Word, PPT, etc. documentation for customer environment/setup
- Network management application experience
- Experience working with multiple technical platforms (e.g., two-tiered client-server, three-tiered client-server) and at least two network systems (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista) including the implementation of Network Access Lists.
