We’re looking for a strategic, people-first leader to join us as Director of People & Culture. You will be responsible for designing and executing a future-ready people strategy for a growing organization of 500+ team members. You will lead initiatives across culture, engagement, internal communications, onboarding, leadership development, and overall people operations. As a key advisor to the executive team, you’ll ensure we attract, develop, and retain top talent while cultivating an environment where people feel valued, empowered, and inspired to do their best work. This role is about shaping a workplace people want to stay in, grow in, and be proud of.
Key Responsibilities
Culture & Organizational Health
- Lead the long-term cultural vision of the organization—designing and implementing programs that bring our mission, values, and leadership principles to life.
- Act as a culture steward across functions and geographies, ensuring our values show up consistently in behaviors, decisions, and systems.
- Use employee data (engagement surveys, feedback loops, etc.) to track organizational health and drive meaningful change.
- Coach and support leaders in managing employee relations, resolving challenges, and fostering a positive, high-trust team environment.
- Own the end-to-end employee engagement roadmap, from strategy to execution. Design initiatives that drive connection, recognition, wellness, and purpose across all levels of the company.
- Lead company-wide engagement and feedback loops. Analyze findings, present key themes to leadership, and manage follow-through on improvement plans.
- Curate internal programs and rituals that foster trust, team bonding, and psychological safety especially in hybrid or distributed work settings.
- Implement tools and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
- Continuously gather and respond to feedback through formal and informal channels, ensuring timely, visible action.
- Lead holistic employee experience programs that prioritize mental health, wellness, and work-life balance.
- Develop and lead a clear, consistent internal communications strategy that reflects our tone, values, and goals.
- Enable leadership transparency through well-structured communications and open forums.
- Spot and amplify the stories that matter - recognizing people, moments, and milestones that reinforce our culture and shape internal brand perception.
- Redesign and continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure every new hire feels welcomed, aligned, and set up for success from day one.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to create orientation content that reflects company culture, goals, and ways of working.
- Establish onboarding KPIs and track their impact on ramp-up speed, early engagement, and long-term retention.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on all things related to culture, change, and people growth.
- Equip people managers with the tools, skills, and mindsets to lead effectively through training, toolkits, and 1:1 coaching.
- Lead programs around emotional intelligence, inclusive leadership, and team dynamics to build a shared leadership philosophy across the organization.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in HR, People & Culture, or Organizational Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- A track record of driving culture, engagement, and leadership development in scaling, high-growth environments.
- Deep expertise in org design, talent strategy, performance management, and employee experience.
- Strong communicator with executive presence and the ability to influence across levels and regions.
- Skilled in people analytics, internal communications, DEI, and remote/hybrid team dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s in HR, Org Psychology, or related field preferred.
- A leadership role with direct impact on company strategy and growth
- The autonomy to build and own programs that define our culture
- A remote-first, collaborative team that values clarity, empathy, and outcomes
- Competitive compensation, benefits, and a people-first work environment
